Community Coaches Application

Thank you for your interest in coaching with Farmington Baseball Association! Please click on the link to the right to submit your application. Anyone who desires to be a head coach or assistant coach must fill out and submit a coaching application.

Farmington Baseball Association values its volunteer coaches and recognizes the vital role they play in the physical and emotional development of our youth sports participants. We thank and commend our volunteers for the interest, sacrifice and commitment they make to our children and our program as well as the positive impact they have on the overall quality of life in our community!

An application is not a guarantee to be selected.  

By submitting this coaching application, you are stating that you have read and understand FBA's Handbook which is publicly available on our website.

If selected to be a coach for FBA, FBA will ask you to sign a document stating you have read and understand FBA's Handbook.

If selected to be a FBA coach, you agree to conduct yourself in a manner which is a positive reflection of our community and your team.

FBA requires that all coaches successfully complete a background check. By submitting this coaching application you agree to provide and complete all necessary documents (upon request of FBA) for FBA to complete your background check.

All coaches must pass a Background Check and complete the following training courses:

• Concussion Education
• First Aid Training
• Child Safety

Based on standards set forth in Protecting Youth Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe

Sport Authorization Act of 2017.

Primary selection criteria include past baseball coaching and playing experience, personal coaching and human development philosophies, organizational skills, strong moral and ethical characteristics, support of FBA policies/procedures, and the applicant's commitment to devote several hundred hours to the program during the season.

Q: Do I need to submit a separate application for each child/league I'm interested in coaching?

A: Yes, if you intend to coach for more than one child/league you must submit an application for each.
