Barnburner Tournament

The Farmington Baseball Association proudly hosts the annual Barnburner Tournament each spring, welcoming eligible travel baseball teams from across the region.

Divisions Offered

• 9A
• 9AA
• 10A
• 11A
• 13A (bracket play only)

All divisions include a three-game guarantee. The 9A, 9AA, 10A, and 11A divisions feature pool play followed by a championship bracket, while the 13A division is bracket play only.

Two umpires will officiate all third-place and championship games. Team awards are presented to the first-, second-, and third-place finishers.

The Barnburner Tournament has historically been awarded qualifying bids for both the MBT and Gopher State state tournaments.

Tournament play follows current MBT Tournament Qualifier rules. FBA reserves the right to adjust schedules, game times, or time limits due to weather or other circumstances to maximize opportunities to complete the tournament and award any available qualifying bids.

Tournament Policies

• Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Full concessions will be available throughout the tournament.
• Please follow all City of Farmington parking regulations at tournament facilities.
• Participating teams must compete in the Metro Baseball League (MBL) or Gopher State Baseball League, or receive prior approval from the FBA Board. Renegade, club, and all-star teams are not eligible to participate.
